Communications Officer | Technical Assistance Programme for Sustainable Energy in the Caribbean (TAPSEC)
Jamal Browne, Ph.D., currently serves as Communications Officer of the 11th European Development Fund (EDF) Technical Assistance Programme for Sustainable Energy in the Caribbean (TAPSEC). In this role, Dr. Browne leads the development and implementation of the TAPSEC Communications & Visibility Strategy, working collaboratively with TAPSEC strategic and implementing partners to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the region’s Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency communications programming. Dr. Browne joined the TAPSEC team in July 2018, having previously served as a Project Officer with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) in Nairobi, Kenya. He is a member of the UN-Habitat-facilitated Working Group on SDG Indicators 1.4.2, and 5.a.1. In September 2017, he was awarded his PhD by The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine
