Director of Utility Regulation | Barbados Fair Trading Commission
With over fourteen years of utility regulation experience, Dr. Marsha Atherley-Ikechi’s has served as the Analyst responsible for each of the regulated utility sectors in Barbados. She is currently the Director of Utility Regulation at the Fair Trading Commission, where she has lead responsibility for the economic and service quality regulation of FLOW (Barbados), the Barbados Water Authority and the Barbados Light & Power Co. Ltd. She holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne; an M.Sc. in Renewable Energy Management from the University of the West Indies; and a Ph.D. in Wastewater Engineering from the University of the West Indies. Marsha has guided a number of projects across a broad spectrum of environmental and energy issues.
